One talented
musician struggles with the meaning of life. Through the
opportunity of a reality show contest he finds his voice
and a way to be forever young.
The soundtrack
includes five original songs and features many artists:
Jimi Hendrix, Billie Holiday, Elvis, Chopin, Def Leppard,
The Beatles, and Alphaville to name a few.
I've created
tobeforeveryoung.com
to present my first feature length screen play. I plan to
make it into a feature length film in the near future, and
to help in that I am seeking to work with people who have
the means to make films. The first people that came to mind
were, of course, famous ones; folks like Matt Damon, Ron
Howard, and David Geffen to name a few. And of course that
has sparked other people I'd like to work with to bring
my next two screen plays into film. These next two films
will be much more special effects intensive than "Tobe,
Forever Young", so I will definitely need to find some
well connected people, for example: I would like to work
with people like Peter Jackson or Robert Zemeckis.
In the
weeks ahead a page or so will be added periodically until
the entire screen play is on tobeforeveryoung.com. Please
note that I understand the risk in presenting works online,
so this screen play is registered with the Register of Copyrights
of the United States of America in the event I need to seek
legal reimbursement for copyright infringement.
I've tried
to make the format as close to the format of screen plays
for film. Hopefully everyone who visits will be able to
see this reflected in the Courier font and the table layout.
So if
you or anyone you are aware of wishes to utilize "Tobe,
Forever Young" for any purpose, please contact me so
that we may work together to bring this story to the shimmering
screen.
Trailer:
TOBE is
unknowingly thrown into a band competition because his older
brother TUBBS sent in an old tape of their four member band
called Fourever. JACOB is psyched about the competition
and helps to convince Tobe to go along, especially since
TRANCE says he's game.
Tobe and
Tubbs leave early for Las Vegas, so that they can visit
with their grandmother along the way. They tell her about
the competition, and she has no doubt that they will win.
Tobe and Tubbs revert to their childhood days, but all fun
halts when a picture of their parents is smashed. Old feelings
of great loss flood Tobe's mind as Tubbs and their grandmother
talk of the car accident that ended their parents' lives.
